This most famous and recognizable traditional Ironware craft is called "Nanbu Tekki"(or Nanbu-Tetsubin) in Japanese, it was born in Iwate about 400years ago.
(Nanbu=old name of Iwate regieon, Tekki/Tetsubin=Ironware)

About Nanbu tekki

Main city of production is Morioka city and Oshu city.
(Mizusawa city changed name to Oshu city in 2006)

"Iwachu", which some European people call this ironware, is one of the Nanbu-Tekki's company name in Morioka, Iwate.

Most famous product is Tea pot.
My recommendation is iron Wind-bell.

The sound is clear and most beautiful...!

It will heal your heart.

In summer, hundreds of Nanbu Iron wind bell will be hanging at JR Mizusawa Station.
Everytime Train make wind, "Ring Ring Ring... " pure sounds create wonderful harmony.

This is actually nice.
